I am trying to sign up but I do not have an Invitation Code. How do I get one?

Each of our camp partners sends out a Parent Information Letter, which contains the invitation code. If you are a grandparent or relative, you may need to ask the parents to send this to you. If you are unable to locate this code, please contact us and let us know which camp your camper is attending. We will need to know the camp name to be able to help you.

Please note that the invitation code is not the same as a password. The invitation code is used to create a Bunk1 account. If you are new to Bunk1 and have an invitation code, register at www.bunk1.com/en/token/signup. If you have used Bunk1 in the past, you will NOT need an invitation code. You simply login at www.bunk1.com using your email address and password that you used when creating your account. 

How does the "Invite Family Members" work?

When you are logged in to your account, you will notice an option in the account menu to "Invite Family Members". This also appears on the Dashboard under "Quick Links". When you invite a family member, they will receive an email from Bunk1 Customer Care, containing a unique link.  Once they click on the link, they will be prompted to choose a password to create an account. 

Please note: For security purposes, they do not gain access to your account or any Bunk Note Credits in your account. They will be setting up their own account and will need to purchase their own credits. 

I forgot my password. How do I reset it?

If you’ve forgotten your password, there is a link on the login page that reads: "Need to reset your password?” Click that link and enter your email address. You will receive an email from “Bunk1 Customer Care” with a unique link to reset your password. If you do not receive an email, please check your spam folder. 

What is "Bunk Notes Express"?

Bunk Notes Express allows you to send a Bunk Note to your child directly from your email provider. No need to login to your Bunk1 account - perfect for business travelers, always on the go! When purchasing Bunk Note Express you will receive a unique email address for each camper that you wish to purchase this option for. It will be in the form of a series of numbers  @Bunk1rollcall.com, for example: 12345-6789@bunk1rollcall.com. Make sure you copy and paste it exactly as it appears, then save it to your contacts. 

Please be aware that each time you send a Bunk Note, 1 credit will be deducted from your account. You MUST have credits on your account to be able to use this option. You can also attach an image to your email for an additional 2 credits but it must be a jpg, png, or gif and you can only attach 1 single image. We encourage you to check that your first message via Bunk Note Express was successful by logging in to your Bunk1 account and clicking on "View Sent" under the Bunk Notes heading. 

I was invited to use Bunk1 but when I try to log in it says my email is already in use. What’s going on?

You already have an account set up from previous years. Go to www.Bunk1.com and login with your email address and password instead. If you do not remember your password from last summer, simple reset it by clicking "Need to reset your password?

How do I know if my Bunk Note successfully sent?

Once you complete your Bunk Note, you will be automatically redirected to the "View Sent" Bunk Notes page. You can navigate to this page by clicking on Bunk Notes ->View Sent. All of the messages that appear under View Sent, have been delivered to your camp. Each day, the camp receives a single pdf document containing all the Bunk Notes that were received over the last 24 hours. 

My camp utilizes the Bunk Reply service. How do I receive a response?

If your camp utilizes this service you have 2 options to receive a reply: 

  1. Purchase stationery prior to camp, print off as many copies as you like and pack it with your camper. Just make sure your camper knows what it is and where to find it! 
  2. Add reply stationery when you send a Bunk Note. A single piece of bar-coded stationery will be distributed to your child with your Bunk Note. There will also be an option to "email me the reply" - choosing this option will send you a PDF of your response so that you do not need to login to your Bunk1 account to access it. 

The stationery will be uniquely bar-coded and linked to your Bunk1 account. Once your camper writes and hands it in, camp staff will fax the response back to Bunk1. Our system reads the bar-code and sends it to your Bunk1 account.
